Mark Zuckerberg changes facebook to meta

If you haven’t heard yet Mark Zuckerberg changed the name of Facebook to Meta. No one expected this because facebook has been an icon to the internet and pretty much everyone in the world has used it or still uses it. So let’s get into why he changed it.

Mark Zuckerberg changed the name because of something called the metaverse, the metaverse is a shared 3d virtual space, many games have this for example, Fortnite and Minecraft are the two biggest. The metaverse is also in virtual reality, virtual reality is basically a true 3d world where you can see and do stuff that you have always wanted to and you are doing it online. The metaverse will change the internet and many big businesses want to start using the metaverse in their websites because of how big and useful it is, this is one of the reasons that he changed the name. The metaverse is gonna be the new internet because everyone is going to start using it, so big companies will have to change their what they have been using to start using metaverse to keep people coming and making their website better.

In my opinion I wouldn’t of changed the name of facebook because so many people are use to it and it isn’t changing anything changing the name. Facebook now know as meta will be changing its branding and everything so get ready for a big change in facebook and the internet. We are coming to a new stage in the internet where this will is going to become the new biggest thing and everyone will want to use it, also VR short for virtual reality is really blowing up and so many people are starting to buy it.
